Don Zuch, Managing Member

Don Zuch is the founding member of Fusilier Resources, LLC and currently serves as the managing member. Mr. Zuch has more than 35 years of experience, working both as an environmental consultant and as an industry professional, managing investigations, spills and remediation projects in multiple states and Canada. Mr. Zuch was the founder and president of The GeoEnvironmental Consortium, Inc.® (GEC), a successful firm that was recognized by peers and clients for providing high quality geologic investigation and remediation services to the petroleum industry, law firms and other industrial clients. Since 2008, Mr. Zuch has worked closely with many oil and gas clients in the Appalachian Basin, helping to establish technical consulting teams used to develop upstream and midstream assets.


Mr. Zuch is an alumnus of the University of Toledo, holding both a B.S. and M.S. in Geology. The M.S. degree included an emphasis in structural geology. Mr. Zuch holds a Professional Geologist (P.G.) license in both Pennsylvania and Kentucky. Mr. Zuch is a past board member of the Pennsylvania Council of Professional Geologists and past co-chair of the Natural Gas End Use Committee at the Marcellus Shale Coalition.


Dan Billman, Member, Geology

Dan Billman has over 33 years of geologic experience in the Appalachian Basin, with the last 30+ years as a consulting geologist and president of Billman Geologic Consultants, Inc. Mr. Billman has specialized in oil and natural gas consulting for clients in the oil and gas exploration and production industry, legal, financial and investment communities, as well as stakeholders/landowners. Mr. Billman was a founding member of Rice Energy and worked closely with the Rice family, as a geologic advisor, in the prolific Marcellus Shale and Utica Shale unconventional plays. Mr. Billman aided Rice Energy in geologically determining areas to exert its efforts in acreage acquisition and introducing Rice Energy to Mr. Billman’s network of Appalachian Basin professionals.


Mr. Billman is an alumnus of the University of Toledo, holding a B.S. in Geology and an alumnus of West Virginia University, holding a M.S. degree in Geology, with an emphasis in structural geology. Mr. Billman is a past board member and past president of the Pennsylvania Council of Professional Geologists and holds a Professional Geologist (P.G.) license in Pennsylvania. He is also a member of the American Association of Petroleum Geologists, where he is recognized as a Certified Petroleum Geologist (C.P.G.). Dan is a member of the Appalachian Geological Society, the Ohio Geological Society, the Pittsburgh Association of Petroleum Geologists, the Pittsburgh Geological Society, the Geophysical Society of Pittsburgh, and the Pennsylvania Independent Oil & Gas Association, where he currently serves as a board member.
